A 3-barrel nanobrewery in the Mad River Valley, Cousins Brewing pours six house beers on tap at the Localfolk Smokehouse location — its unofficial tasting room — at the junction of Route 100 and Route 17 in Waitsfield. The rotating lineup usually includes a couple of IPAs, a double IPA, a brown ale, an Irish red, and a blonde, brewed with local ingredients including Peterson Quality Malts and Vermont-grown hops. As of early 2026 the tasting room typically pours Fridays and Saturdays at 5PM; the food side of the space is transitioning to a new restaurant, Silk Road.
