Keith and Matt began homebrewing in Westmoreland in 2013 on a five-gallon homemade rig, moved up to a one-barrel electric system, and opened 7 Hamlets Brewing on 27 March 2020 in a building they bought in their hometown. The name nods to the seven original hamlets that made up Westmoreland, and several beers and the taproom maps draw on them. It is a licensed farm brewery with a taproom, an event space and an on-site food truck.
